Hellovalekkertrip!! ;D

Must say - saw my gat trying RR route 1 - need more practice for the las 15metres over the top! Aborted and mellowed after that!

Slight Hijack...

Hi Frankie, was this you?

If so, I also have you on video.

Mike Glover said only 7 people made it up here, but I'm not sure I believe him. There were at least 7 bikes there when we got to it. Even so, that you got through the stuff before it means you did pretty well.

How many wilddog members rode up there? Surely more than 7?

Very very nice and looks awesome and a nice fun event....... ;D ;D

Must admit and agree with Adventurer....looking at just the pics of the GSC and the RR that the RR looks much better and nicer and more enjoyable......not so much dust ......... :peepwall: :peepwall: :ricky: :ricky: :ricky:

Yep! Thats me - tore my hamstring further back trying to save falling over - then just dropped it in the rocks! When I got here Johan was trying his best to coax me up the last two steps, but I could'nt use my left leg because of the pain! The back of my knee is all black and blue from the tear.  :( Was'nt happy - so near yet so high!!

ouch man Frankie, I hope you recover soon man. Ouchies... sterkte!  :thumleft:

I did the whole of RR1 if that was part of it, there were 3 of us and also 5 guys from Dbn apart from Alf, Darryl and his cronies so I reckon there were a lot more that seven at the top

Ag nee Frankie, soos jy gepraat het was daai stuk baie erger!!  :D Ek het ten minste gedon daar was modder, stompe, sneeu en groter klippe!!  :lamer:

the photo is deceiving, the inclination was more than 40deg. but still its better going up then down.

Yep there where quite a few more than Seven up there...perhaps what he meant was Seven who road it out clean without being pulled up? But even that seems a bit to few...it WAS steep but while I was there 3 of us rode it out clean so I think Mike used a bit of poetic licence there  ;)

I thought so.

Maybe he was talking about 950/990's?

I was a bit marbly, if this was Henderson's loop, and pretty steep, the only way was to stand up and ride it in second gear with as much momentum as the terrain would allow. I wasn't as bad as I expected after the briefing the night before.
