I can get a local bike which I consider to be a relative bargain.....
2010 Yamaha XT660Z, 42000KM, all original panniers, new front and rear tyres, black an grey in colour for R52000.
Thing is, it has 3 issues:
While riding and gearing down, it cuts out when shifting past neutral.
Secondly, from a full charge with a new battery, the battery will only last 3 days, no gadgets connected.
Thirdly, engine light stays on permanently after the current owner stripped off some panels and tank for cleaning, light has been on ever since, but no performance issues.
Has anybody experienced any of the aforementioned issues, or are these known issues, what could be possible causes and fixes, and is it worth the asking price considering the issues it has?
