After a lot of planning and help from fellow Wilddog members i managed to put together a trip to Kaokoland. I was last there in 1995 and for years wanted to return. Renrew, KTM500, Goodtogo,XR650L, My brother Kevin 790R and myself KTM 500. The date was set for 15May we meet in Grobelershoop. We then trailered to Windhoek to stay with Goodtogos friend. In Windhoek i had to go to Joes pub. From Windhoek again trailed to Usakos on the 17May where we left our vehicles and rode to Spitzkoppe on some paths and back roads. It quickly became apparent the 790 was a bit of a problem loaded in the sand. The next day we did some jeep tracks to Uis for petrol. I told Renrew and Goodtogo to continue on the planed route. Kevin and i will meet them at Palmwag lodge camp. Time for pictures.
