A month or two ago I took my 800 in for its 30 000 km service.
The major item done was the fork oil replacement. After the service I noticed that the front suspension is a lot firmer than it was. (Mostly tar riding....)
After an offroad trip this weekend I came to the conclusion that the front suspension is WAY too hard.
I get about 78mm of suspension travel and it feels like the suspension is bottoming out even on rather small obstacles.
Am I correct in suspecting that there is too much fork oil in the forks?
Now: is there an easy way to get rid of the excess fork oil?
