So I replaced the complete clutch on my 950, including the outer basket . For this job you have to remove the inner clutch engine cover , a bit of a job ( rhs tank, exhaust, crash bars etc) then the 8- 10 bolts holding the casing and of course the water pump.
With all that done and re installed , new oil and cooling fluid, the bike struggles to start !
Sounds very rough / misfiring and generally unhappy. I have never heard of any timing issue when installing a clutch , nor did I see anything in the manual.
The replacement was just the clutch , no timing gears etc.
Any ideas?
