The pass was not technically difficult, but inclines were steep and lots of rocks to contend with. With Mark leading the way, we manage a good pace to keep the air moving around our overheating bodies

Shame about the cow strike man.  We were at Joe's place the week before and had quite a few animal run ins. Cows on the Dullstroom road, plenty of goats everywhere and a very suicidal donkey close to Joe's.
