If you where not out riding today you better have had a good excuse.
I only left at 11.30 and took dirt to Albertinia. Fuel and off I went towards Herbertsdale.
Herbertsdale below.
The river that causes all the damage everytime. This time they had -+ 500mm of rain in 48 hours.
They had to repair this quickly as the milktrucks have to pick up milk daily from the farms.
The start of Cloete's Pass.
Lots of drifts and water.
Down towards the Gouritsriver.
I think Big Dom owns some property close to where I stopped. :mwink:
Firewood anyone?!!
And we do have stunning mountains in the WC dont we?
Still wet in some places.
They are still fixing the damage in some places.
Full to the brim.
Garciapass was a blast through the turns. Just below the pass I turned left on the Novoroad to take me
to Riversdale insteed of the tarroad.
Riversdale below.
Went through town and over the N2 and aimed for Stillbay and home via the dirtroads.
This is the amount of freshwater flowing into the Goukou river at the moment. The rest is seawater that pushes in.
All along the river to town.
I believe tomorrow will also be a stunning wintersday in the WC.:thumleft:
Where to? where to? :thumleft:
