A ride with my dad - Overberg area

I'd like to take my dad on a "green route/novice" ride next month, and thought of the old HouwHoek pass. From Grabouw, I thought of riding Viljoen's pass, then round to Van Der Stel's pass, to Bot Rivier and finally doing the old Houw Hoek pass, and then back to Grabouw. I've never ridden in that area, so I can't really comment.

Does anyone perhaps have any great spots to see, or other suggestions with regards to that area please? All comments and suggestions are very welcome.
