Leaving Namibia this year and want to do a quick tour of the Westcoast and Karoo with the family in the 4x4
I have spent a number of days reading through the various trip reports and have gathered some usefull info. I have a few questions though that i will appreciate some help with please -
Idea is to enter at Port Nolloth and then go to Klienzee, Koingnaas, Hondeklip, inland to Garies and out to Nieuwoudville. Will like to follow the "main" route as close to the sea as possible without getting stuck in thick sand with the family.
There seems to be a myriad of roads in the area. How do i know which one to take - is there some GPS co-ordinates available?
Where to stay in Port Nolloth? Houthoop guest farm at Kleinzee sounds like a good bet and Skulpieskraal at Hondeklip baai is another possibility. Where in Nieuwoudville?
What is the weather like in December and will it be overcrowded?
