Am I being over ambitious?

I've come across 650 GS under a tarpaulin. It's seems mostly complete and in reasonable condition, but lacks the front end (forks, wheel, caliper) but it does has the cowling and instrument cluster.
Questions are: what will the missing components cost; is it better to sell off the parts; or walk away?
