Remember the recent ride to the Childrens home in Belfast.
... and the front sprocket of the Aprilia that came off
I was re-reading Yellow Fever's ride report up to Zanzibar and early on the trip the front sprocket of the Aprilia (I deduce) also came off
Is this just co-incidence or is there a design problem
IMO, I did notice that there is almost no grip for the metal flange disc with the folding tab which is supposed to keep the nut from coming off.
Just an interesting observation
