Atlantis first timers x 4

Hello Guys and gals.

After a few Parklands sand days, we decided to go and visit Atlantis.

Shredder, Desert Snoek, Rubicon and I. We had 3 4x4s for support, backup and drinks carrying!

Well prepared.  :mwink:

We are in the process of editing videos and pics, so will post shortly.

I was just utterly amazed how comparatively easy the riding was. All of us (except DS) having 1 spill each, but all low speed stuff.

The sand was scary soft, and getting going and stopping was tricky. Rubicon had a very short stint, but she decided not to push it too far. DS had to leave early, but his smile just got wider and wider as he was riding.

Shredder and I did a loop around the dunes and back, with quite a few scary drops over the lee sides of the dunes.  :biggrin: Was knackered after that.

By the time you can see over the top, its too late to stop and turn.

Jy is al klaar daar. Daai pad na ons camp spot toe was vreeslik sag en vol 4x4 spore. Ek het gedink ons gaan net bikes optel. Maar jy het nie eers een keer gelyk of jy gaan val nie.  :thumleft:

Net daai draaie! Ek het n teorie daaroor, maar dit sal meen dat ons meer cones moet ry in Parklands om te toets.  :ricky:

Waar was ons ander Parklands Newbs? Hopelik in die sand om te oefen?  eepwall:

+100 :thumleft: :thumleft: Looks really "Aggressive,... yet very Elegant" @ the same time,... if that makes sense. Damn Fine looking Scoot. :drif: :drif: One thing is for sure though,.. it's the correct bike for that type of terain.

Tks Pleco ... het self gedink ons gaan baie optel heeldag, en was verbaas  

Dink die draaie sal reg kom as ek gou so 2 brannas vat daar  :imaposer:  ... net om daai 'doen-moenie-oordink' ding aan die gang te kry ... en met bietjie meer aggressie die draaie vat. Maar ons sal oefen tot ons daar kom nê ...  :thumleft:  Ek hoef nie 'n hotshot in duine te wees nie, gaan net oor selfvertroue sodat wanneer ek op 'n trip is en 'n sand stuk of tweespoor raak loop ek nie in sphincter overdrive gaan nie  :eek7: Dink ek het amper daai punt nou bereik met jou hulp en aanmoediging .. baie dank !

Ek is mal oor die Weskus en weet dat baie van daai paaie maar so sand avontuur of 2 insluit ... maar nou sal ek hom rustig aanpak en 'n fighting chance hê .. kan nie dink dat dit moeiliker kan wees as die duine nie, al is die bagasie by ....   ???
