I rode up last about 2 years ago on my then brand new AT 1000 and was a workout but not a problem, I wouldnt attempt it now with a new bike!
That 650 makes it extremely easy :lol8: and especially with the new MotoZ Rallz i fitted last week, very impressed! :thumleft:

Yow! We are planning to ride those passes in a week’s time - not shy of a little adventure, but that looks pretty hairy for an old man like me at the moment ( that driffie in particular!!!). Mmmmm  ... i’m worried about your comment to Gerrard that currently it’s “harder than the side-entry (to Baviaanskloof) ...

That driffie pic was not on the Baster road, that was on the Bokspruit road later in the day and there was an easy bypass through the river
