Bastervoetpad Quicky ! 19/07/2011

I have been threatening to go up there for a while now and yesterday was the day.

It was cold as usual with a stiff wind blowing and some snow around, but dressed in all my ATGATT,  I was very warm and cosy, even hot at times !

The road I took was from the Mountain Shadows side, I was lazy and did not feel like doing the whole loop alone.

So here are are the pics I took along the way.

While I was up there I had a look for and found the Bastervoetpad Geocache which has not been found in more than two years !  :mwink:

I also took a travel bug for a visit, thats the little red car in the pic.

Then I ended the ride at Mountain Shadows with a few Captains before taking a slow ride home . . .

Now for the benefit of the GP's (Poepol's of Gangsta paradise) - where is this stunning piece of earth? Near Elliot?
I feel like packing for thatroad now!

Correct, the blueish route on my map, thats the whole route.

The co-ords I gave are for the summit of the pass.

From my place, ride the loop back to my place in Elliot is +- 100km, takes a few hours :ricky:
