Monkeyboy and myself have decided to have another December adventure, and this year we are going to explore Baviaans, and slowly ride back to Cape Town. Jupiter has kindly organised a route for us, and I can't wait!
This is the idea.
17th December
Cape Town to Steytlerville
Now I am thinking of splitting this into a 2 day ride, and leaving on the 16th, but this isn't finalised yet.
18th December
Steytlerville via Grootrivierpoort to Doornkloof, Baviaans
We'll be staying at Doornkloof Bushcamp, and then will arrange to do the Rus en Vrede Road (the infamous Side Entry)
19th December
Doornkloof to De Vlugt
Rus en Vrede Road to Assegaaibos and beyond! We will be aiming for Angie's G-Spot for an overnight with a route through the Kouga Loop.
20th December
De Vlugt to Die Hell, and overnight there.
21st December
Die Hell to Koedoeskloof, Ladismith
Here we plan on meeting up with the HP2 crowd.
22nd December
Ladismith to Cape Town via Gysmanshoek pass and Heidelberg.
Back just in time for Christmas. :thumleft:
