Baviaanskloof ride

A friend and I are planning a 3-4 day trip through Baviaanskloof on a GS and a GSA with pillions 22nd to 25th March.  We want to base with friends in Jeffery's meaning leaving from Jeffery's and arriving back at Jeffery's after the trip. What level of riding skill does one need and what are good B&B's to use along the route? We were thinking of doing it in 3 stages. Please give as much info as possible to help plan this trip. We are both intermediate riders , but pillions are green, first time offroad, so we do not want to scare them off. Thus B&B'S are the prefers option.
