Very good read and great pics
Any punctures on the trip?
What was the total distance covered by bike?

Thank you.

Total distance covered about 1500km from Fouriesburg and back.

No punctures or break downs on the trip.

The two big bikes cover kms at a brisk rate and soon we are in Zastron to fill up with fuel

Noneking thanks for the efforts in a truly great ride report. Done some of that area before, but this has inspired me to book the trip April 2020. Just need to decide between my previous  favourite 701 and the new lover 790 R?

The 790 is perfect bike for the trip!

We were doing slightly illegal speeds on the asphalt  >:D >:D >:D I saw a bike next to the road just after Hobhouse. Deon hit a rock on Volunteers and was struggling to keep pressure in his front wheel. We fed him some dry wors while he abused the rim with a rock. Righards Airman came in handy to get the pressure up to 3 bar

:thumleft:

Eerste 1090 was eintlik die probleem fiets gewees.

Noneking,

Baie nice report thx.

Awesome report, Noneking! :thumleft:

I noticed the absence of the poop-scoop... and all the mud... I must say that without the poop-scoop my GS/A is much dirtier above the wheel (the wheel well?), and I prefer keeping the poop-scoop present.
