As per the heading, is it worth worth commuting with the bike vs. the cage?
I saw threads a while ago discussing this topic, so apologies for the duplicate thread.
I know that my Jeep Cherokee 3.7 Petrol is not the most economical vehicle out there, but it's my alternative transport other than the :snorting:
Living in Centurion and working in Jhb (Bryanston) I commute daily, regardless of the weather.
My petrol with the car would be +- R850 a week and with the :snorting: it's R250.
So I'm saving about R600 a week!!
R600 x 50 weeks = R30 000 a year!!
The services vs. the cage are cheaper... I can't even imagine how much time I saved by not sitting in traffic! And, best of all, I'm on my bike every day!!
