Hi guys,

so took the CR in to work today to show fellow co-workers. Bike rides reasonably, but these Bing carbs remind me of those Solex Pieces of crap you used to get on Kombi's and Beetles.. Utter shite!
What would those in the knowledgable crowd say would be an EASY, and reliable replacement for a R100 CS?

I'm not sure whats wrong with these Bings, but they're not well.. They continue to REV when I get to a Robot, and I'm forced to "ride the Clutch" THEN the Rev's drop to jjust over 1 K, and then I can put the bike in Neutral.. It's like something is still holding open the throttle, but it's not, if you get my drift..

I don't wanna sukkel with this thing, and ideally just want simply, WORKING Carbs. What suggestions have you? Or is there a specialist in Cape Town?

thanks boys

regards

Alan
