I was riding home from work, when the battery light came on.
I called the friendly peeps at auto alpina and inquired about this pip scratching problem.
I'm told that it could one or 2 things. either the alternator has kaked. (if that has happened does anybody want to buy a R1150 gs in great condition it even has a working battery light)
Or there is a belt (read secret location) that could have snapped. (bike still possibly for sale depending price of belt)
I have opened the front cover (read found the secret location) and look what i found.
SOOOOOO my problem is 2 fold
the friendly folks at auto alpina cant help me until the end of Jan..... (which is OK cause I will need to sell at least half of my kids Christmas presents to pay for the labor to loosen 4 screws)
how difficult will it be to put a new one on?
Please keep in mind Im guessing here but its called a R1150 gs because that is the starting price of any spares..
