I needed another memory card for my camera and found a store close by. There was a father and his young son in the shop. They left and I got my memory card. When I got outside, the father and his son were sitting in the car and he said that his son was crazy about motorbikes and he asked his dad to wait until I came out and pulled away. He wanted to see and hear the bike, so I invited the young man to sit on the bike, which he did.

I cried as I pulled away from there, my son will never ever again sit on my bike.

I went past the world famous Kucki's Pub, but it was closed and I was once again drawn to Tiger Reef. The wind was howling and there was dust everywhere.

Brandon's sticker no 54 went up at Tiger reef. Who knows if they will leave it there or take it off?

Enjo and Sonja had returned from Cape Cross, but I have to seriously consider my next post. How much should I divulge, how honest should I be?

Please tell me.

Me and my boy. You have no idea how many nights I cry myself to sleep. Treasure every precious moment you have with your children.

I cannot change the past, I can only make a difference today and every day thereafter.

As you all very well know by now, I have a cause. I want to go where people do not go usually. I want to share photos of places which will blow my mind.

I need to ride to maintain my sanity and I am leaving PE on the 15th of December on another trip in aid of my son's Foundation.

I am stopping at a friend in Paterson who is going to take me on routes normally closed to the public through game reserves, and then I am heading off.

The general route at this stage, Alicedale, ???????, Indwe, Elliot, Maclear, Mount Fletcher, Matatiele, Underberg, ?????????????????, Clarens, and then who knows where?

Please share whatever info you have about this route, or people along the way who will make a campsite available. I want to ride as much gravel as possible and find places where I can put my tent up in the middle of nowhere.

Brandon's sticker no 57, on my room window overlooking the ocean.

Packed Matilda, thanked Sonja for her generosity giving me free accommodation, stopped at The Brauhaus to say good bye and headed to Walvis Bay.

Desert sand everywhere.

More desert and more tar.

Passed by Dune 7, then it became gravel. I was on my way to Solitaire.

Vogelfederberg. No permit, no entry.

Back on the road.

And then you are in the middle of absolutely nowhere.

Then trees, I had to go and see if they were real and nearly got stuck in the sand.
