Has anyone bought a motorcycle from auction? Was it in good running condition? Is there significant savings than buying privately or from the dealership? I recently have been to an auction and the winning price was good, however if you add all auction charges the price went up close to the estimated trade-in value, which defeats the purpose. I think the savings would be realized if it's a cash deal rather than financing or if buying to repair and sell. Any thoughts?
