At the last stop on the route we just chilled under the trees with a beer, chatting to old friends.
Watching everybody leave  ;D

We stopped while Gerookte Varkkneukel picked up a large bundle of wire and threw it away from the road.
Barely 100m further we stopped again: This chap, Jochi / Joggie had picked up some wire in his back wheel and it was a mess!
Took quite a while to get rid of that lot.....

The last bit of riding was the most enjoyable of the lot: After the wire was removed we gooied at a lekker pace, following the well marked route (white chalk arrows).

Got back to a fantastic braai  ;D
My first helping was not very ambitious but I had more after that, they catered very liberally and the quality was exceptional. Best chops I have ever had!!!

Safe back home, time to wash the bikes  ;D

Ja, slowly getting better thanks. Friday the brace comes off. Coincides nicely with my bike being ready on Friday as well. 6 weeks is along time with no biking.
