So we had a long weekend and nothing was planned. We decided to see where we could go and started to phone around and look for sleeping place. Well, being a long weekend and us being so slack and leaving everything to the last minute, we could not get a place to stay. Anyway, we decided to take off and see where we our noses took us. 9 of us took off and had a great ride through Hella Hella then on towards Underburg doing roads we have yet to try. Good riding and lots of dust but well worth the trip. Fantastic views with the Drakensburg tops all covered in snow. We wanted to do Sani but time was against us. Next time for sure.

Hamilton, looks like you guys had a great days ride. I want to take a mate, new to dirt road riding, on the same route. According to the map it shows you went along the Lotheni road from Nottingham Rd. What condition is the Lotheni rd in as I heard there was plenty of roadworks taking place. Thank you.
