Hey there Guys & Gals

Just a quick update regarding my photos I promised....

I'm still busy making my way through the footage from my helmet camera to extract the photos. With me only getting back home late yesterday, I wasn't able to get much done last night. I'm currently still busy doing my best to get through all my footage ASAP in order for me to post all the shots I got of most of you guys & gals along the route.  :ricky: :ricky: ;D

I'm currently by the section where that "Really Cool SAND Section" was.....& I already have almost 500 photos of most of the riders ;D ;D

(...BTW Johnnie Bok...PLEASE include that section of sand in next year's ride  :thumleft: :thumleft:  ;D )

I lost all clutch at the very start of that section , and stalled the bike , eventually got the thing started and with the lever pulled all the way in the bike just kept going forwards , got through ok though  :thumleft: and half a km afterwards the clutch was ok again .

It was me who donered over on the grass before we even started :-[

After that: What an awesome day!
I was a bit put off by the R200 when I first read about the ride, then all my friends bailed, but I decided to come anyway (the other option was a funduro in Malsbury).
Well, even without my friends there, it was the best R200 I've ever spent, and seeing what went into the organising, I don't know how it was done on so little.
-I guess I do know: all the great farmers & sponsors who just did it because that's just how awesome they are.

Anyway, here are some of my pics from the day:

As I was leaving, I was behind a guy on a big KTM who came off quite badly on the dirt roads back to the N2.
I think he said his name was Jacques.

I helped get his bike out the road, and called the emergency number we were given, but didn't wait for the bakkie to arrive bacause a farmer had come and promissed to stay with him.
It seemed like he bust his colar bone & maybe a rib. Aslo some minor cosmetic damage to the bike.

Anyway buddy, I hope you're on the mend and your wife wasn't too pissed with you.
All the best & sorry I didn't stay.
