Every year Tienie (Johnnie Bok) and his crew organize this NG
Kerk Charity event,

And with the permission of all the farmers in the area, a route is arranged crossing through private land

This year being the 12th year that this event took place.

Strangely , after the worst drought in the Western Cape ,

The NG Kerk must have had rain on back order from all their prayers, which came in bucket loads the week prior the the run.
Which made the ride a little more technical than we were all use to , and with 289 Riders , there were lots of spills and thrills.
Some of us even landed up being treated in Hospitals.

Please post your pics , video clips and stories here on this tread.

A very Big thanks to Johnnie Bok and his fantastic crew this year, their response to falls were very speedy.
You didn't even get a chance to pick up yr  bike and they were there.
Thanks also for Joey Evans , Ex Amageza Hero , and of late , a Dakar Malle Moto Finisher , for sparing his time to come down and join our event and share his experience with us.

He has Written a book- From Para to Dakar------------a must read for an  Adventure Bike Rider

So very well done Residents & Farmers of Caledon !

Thanks a Lot Andy for getting this RR thread started.

I fully agree with you with the fact that this truly was yet another AWESOME Canola Run :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

Thanks Tienie for all the hard work that you & your team always put into making this event the huge success that it is. Looking forward to next year where we can do it all over again.

My foto's volg binne 'n dag of 2.

Tienie my friend, no need to apologize for the muddy roads..... IMHO it was the Perfect Playground for us all to have one heck of a lot of fun out there  :ricky: :lol8: :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

Was my first Canola run and all I can say is what a great event. Fun route, even more so as it was muddy and slippery.

Here is my footage from Saturday.

It was also quite special to meet up with "Leftless" there on his AT1000.

So nice to see him back on a bike.
Could not agree with you more on that. [emoji1303][emoji1303]

Here's a photo I got of both him & Andy at the start....

Sien weer volgende jaar  :thumleft:

It's for that very reason that I always let my helmet camera run for the entire event, in the hope that I can capture footage/photos of as many people as possible.

Everyone always would love to get photos/footage of themselves riding through & enjoying this great event..... But not everyone can/wants to stop all the time to take photos.

I'm busy working my way through my footage & will hopefully be able to start posting my helmet camera photos/footage now over this weekend.

I'd like to echo those words you said just now.... In that it's always so great to see how people stop to help one another on this event, to get through difficult spots or even assist to pick a bike up.

Looking forward to seeing you join us again next year. [emoji6][emoji1303][emoji1303]

Sho dis n mooi high fender kit.

Been a busy hectic week my side & only got a chance now to start working through all the footage I captured from my helmet camera. In the meantime... I'm gonna just post a few photos I snapped with my phone.  ;D

On Friday, after picking up Joey Evans from the airport, we heading off to KTM CT to pick up his bike for the weekends ride.
