I have no pics, but will tell a story of the day:

It started a cold, cold morning, frozen handshakes were the order of the day, soon there were bikes everywhere one looked, from full on 2stroke mx bikes, to 1200GSA's.

After indemenities and some welcome coffee, Leon gave a brief instruction on off road bike riding, the basic theory of standing, weight transfer etc.

From there the groups split up into a enduro group (they had no idea what was install!) a more experienced group, and two beginners groups, big up's to the trainers just being able to see how they handle those 1200's is amazing and something to behold

I had Luckystriker, Eisbein and Operator in my group, it was the coolest group of the day 8) ;D
I did the fast piece of the training on a CRF450... I have no words.. also rode the G450X BMW for a while, awesome stuff. After the training myself and Luckstriker ended up in the enduro group? And we were having a lekker time in that group The-wes did not dissapoint, showing off his love for water...

Great day...frikkin tired....thanks to all who came, without y'all it would not have worked...(no really!)
See the other group tomorrow!

Absolutely awesome day!  Thanks Etienne, for organising the day.  Thanks, too, to the instructors and their helpers and to Nelson's Creek for the facilities.  It was fantastically well run.

I was in Daniel's group.  I hate cones, but thanks, Daniel, for your patience.

A grand day with Wes providing a real lift for the spirits at the end.

Thanks.

Etienne - thanks dude.

You know how to organise.

Dunno if we were the coolest, but I still think that Operator provided the best entertainment!

Thanks also for Nelson's Creek and the instructors.

Especially Wayne - our guy.

And what a day it was.

Had lots of fun, spent some time with fellow dogs and just had an awesome time.

Thanks all!

I'm jealous.....

Oh well, the pains of a working life...!

Glad to hear it was a fun day - hope you're all going to clean the bikes before riding to work on Monday... ;) ;) (I wouldn't...  >:D)

Well done in putting together and managing the event Et - hope tomorrow's guys have as much fun!

More pics please......the paparazzi was out in full force so there should be many more of Wes  >:D

Thanks for a full days training. Its good to have the basics drilled home again and to see how it should be done. I must say that I am always impressed by the control and ballance skills of these BMW instructors.  :thumleft:

First time video upload, hope it works. Wes, since you had to do the water crossing a 2nd and 3rd time I had enough time to "catch" you

Thank Etienne for organising.

Yes the instructors definitely know their stuff and Wayne needs a special mention for his calm solid way of instruction.

All-in-all it was a very nice day and again it was nice to spend the day with a such a positive and fun bunch of Wilddogs :thumleft:

Training was really good. Got some nice Pics...

will post them later.

BIG THANKS to ET. Fun day and I will go back, I must say that I did not think that going slow and riding around cones would make you so tired.I woke up this morning knowing I had had a full body work out. One of the. Best moments was hearing Crossed up shout with joy and seeing his happiness on beating. the tight U turn cone course.
Daniel thanks for the instruction. I want to hear a report from you on the 990.

Hey guys
First of all, thank you to Ettienne for organising this for us.  Sorry we missed a bit of the fun, we won't miss the next one!!  (2 months before Taz'll be back on the bike, but he will be back!)

Update on Taz, he's at home and strapped up for now.  His dislocated shoulder found its home last night at approx. 20:00.  We'll take him back to follow up on the shoulder fracture later this week.

He would like to sincerely thank Bus, Blackball, Topbox, Leon, Mr Big and all the rest who assisted to get him and his bike upright.  And a very big thank you to Liza who whisked him to hospital.  It is very good to know that the WD family look out for one another.  :thumleft:

Tip from him:  When you put wire around the grips to keep them from turning, make sure they won't get hooked on your glove.  ;)
