Cederberg Adventure Bike Challenge 22-25 October 2009
The Cederberg Adventure Bike Challenge (CABC) was born from a need for “an across the board” adventure bike event that includes all brands - BMW, Buell, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM and Yamaha. CABC aims to bring riders of all the different brands together in an amazing setting just 13km’s from Wupperthal in the Cederberg, Western Cape to promote the common interest of off-road riding.
This is a true adventure bike challenge for adventure riders!!!
Hennie Lowe the founder and initiator of CABC, together with Johan de Jager – both accomplished riders – want to share their passion of adventure riding.
“We want to establish an event on the yearly biking calendar to provide a neutral brand free environment for like-minded adventure bikers to get together and have a great time.
The event will cater to every level of adventure rider from novice to real McCoy’s”
“With the involvement of all the brands, with no specific preference or agenda we want to ensure we focus on the riding and the camaraderie that exists in the adventure biking community. We will not focus on prizes as the main attraction for joining the event but rather on the area, the venue and the attention to detail going into the planning required in order to host a successful CABC.” – Hennie Lowe & Johan de Jager
The family involvement is important, we don't always have the opportunity to bring our families along to these events - we want to change this. We will cater on site for children and wives to have a great time, this whilst the riding can continue.
We have fought long and hard to enable us to offer this event at a very affordable rate, whilst looking at the current financial crisis we are all faced with.
There will be special rates for pillions & families on all 3 packages. Group discounts apply for 10 or more and kids under 12 FREE ENTRY.
