Cederberg toyrun wuperthal 2009
As part of the Cederberg adventure bike challenge in biedouw from the 22-25 October 2009 there is a toyrun to the wuperthal community on the Sunday the 25 October.
DS bikes is using the Cederberg more and more so we are giving back to the wuperthal community.
There are 180 kids in the school in wupperthal and the are really in need, lets see what we can give to them.
They need writing pads, rulers, pens, coloring pens, crayons, all school related things. If you just want to give a toy its also fine.
We need these guys on our side, if they decide no more bikes then that will be the end of our cederberg riding.
We will organize collection points in Cape Town, there is already one at the Spar in Clanwilliam for the toys and stuff.
The school has a real need for computers so if there is someone out there that has some outdated machines please let me know.
The event is also sponsoring the upgrade of facilities in wuppertal as a DS camping area with ablutions that will give them some sustainable income for the future.
