Ran into this chap again on Monday.
I first met up with him about a year ago, and he showed me his clocks, the bike was on 320k kms.
On Monday he tells me he's now sitting at 350k. He's had the bike from new IIRC.
Still looks good too.
Makes mine feel like its not being used.

Bought my 2012 GS in May 2014 with 46200 on the clock. 90% tar and loving every bit! She will hit 150000 this weekend. Previous 132000 was done on the Bird.

VW 2000L Kombi - 420 000km  (Bought at 20 000km - Sold)
Toyota 2.2 HiLux - 440 000km (Bought at 120 000km)
VW Chicco - 330 000km (Bought at 315 000km - 4th Owner)

Just missed 100 000 on my KLR before they stole it, bike had 12k on it when I bought it and 3 years later it was on 105k using some oil  :deal:

My DL 1000 had 74000 Miles on it when I bought her she now has 196000 miles - Ok I did overhaul the motor 20k ago she is going better than ever

My KLE500 bought in August 2018 had 26 000km on and  this morning she clocked 40 000km

A little update on "Oupa" as this bike has now been renamed .......

Sidpitt organised a Karoo "Dads & Lads tour" earlier this year and Archangel needed a bike to join ..... so what could I do, I lent him my trusty old 1150

To distinguish it from my "new" 1150, we started to call this one "Oupa" and my "new" bike "Wittes" for obvious reasons ......

Anyway, so "Oupa" was returned to me this week, to allow me to experience this event ......

my zx 10 I think I sold it on 45000
