Aware this question has been asked plenty , so please bear with me .
Going on a long ride in 2 weeks time . Kempton to Balito and back for the weekend . Want to clean my chain on Saturday , lube it to be ready for the ride .
Now I have one of those special brushes to clean the chain with , some paraffin or diesel does the trick to clean the chain nicely ! My only gripe is then when spraying chain lube it makes a huge mess on the rim and spokes .
So some input , do you spray chain and then wipe away excess , or bite the bullet and look other way and wash the rim after the trip ?
