Here's One for the books......
The 1150 Adv I recently purchased was sold at the same time as the seller sold a car. He handed the change of ownership forms in to the Vehicle Registration offices at the same time.
The fellow behind the counter swapped information, so I now own the car, and the buyer of the car now owns a bike !!!!
This only came to light after repeated efforts to register the bike in my name, which I obviously can't do as I am not the registered buyer!!!
I have requested the seller to get an affidavit signed from the Police with our Sales Agreement etc and take it to the Traffic Dept to rectify.
Has anyone else had this happen, and if so what is the procedure to reverse the error?
