On my way to work this morning, I pull away from a traffic light and before I could shift to second gear the engine makes a loudish clack sound and dies instantly ???.
So I coast into the yellow line with the clutch in, put it in neutral and hit the starter. Voila - it fires up as if nothing happened and carries me to work on the highway at 120kmh for 17km no problem, no funny noises, no warning lights, nothing...I am kinda nervous taking it anywhere far now, but it took me to Villiers and back on Sunday doing around 130kph all the way, no issues.
Anybody have a clue what might have happened there and is there something I should check or worry about ? Its a 2006 model with around 52000km.
