My 2011 KLR 650 has this grey plastic wrap/paint over it, applied by previous owner.
It looked alright when I bought it but now its all scratched up and looking tatty (noob experiences on the mountain trails!).
Is there some kind of solvent that can strip this off? I can peel the plastic wrap off but it leaves traces of evidence that it was there behind.
It was also applied to the petrol tank. The bond it has made there looks closer and I can't peel this off.
Here is a picture of the bike. You can see I am also missing some plastic. That is the section I tested pulling the wrap off. While I am here, should I buy a new back plastic panel or can I glue it to the missing section which I have?
