Has anyone adjusted or replaced steering head bearings on the AT?
I get a clunking sound from the front end these days, which I suspect is caused by play on the steering head bearings. I do not feel any notchiness at the steering center position, which is usually a tell-tale sign of worn bearings.
I have a 2017 AT with 27k kms, probably 30% on gravel, but nothing too technical.
Previously, I had a BMW F800GS that used to eat head bearings every 10-15k kms, and that was mostly while commuting on tar.
