I nearly said "you must be shitting me" to the guy at the nut and bolt shop - one of the largest in Pretoria in fact.
So began my search for that often referred to, but apparantly impossible thing to find, called an aluminium crush washer.
I visited two large nuts and bolt places, two of the largest Midas outlets and a hydraulic shop before I became tired of the blank looks and the "jammer meneer" replies and gave up.
So, it seems that if you want to replace your bike's sump plug washer during your next oil change, the only option is probably to order some from your dealer at cringe worthy prices because it seems you cannot find them elsewhere.
If you know of a spot, please let me know. Looking for 12x17 (in/ex) and 14x16 in aluminium.
