Cylinder head engineering repairs

As anyone who has followed my rebuild thread will know, I sent the cylinder head from my XT to an engineering shop to be machined and line bored, to repair the camshaft.

Is it normal for it to take a month and cost R2500-00?
It has already been there 3 weeks and I am being stalled.

I am disappointed in the service from the engineering shop in JHB, is my dissapointment justified?
