I bow before you. What to do? Me and the girlfriend went on a 4200 km tour on two Dakar's. In Vic Falls my Dakar broked down badly. It failed me. The one centerstand spring broked. I know ... it has two and one will still do the job .... but this to me is unacceptable. I know everything else went smoothly and they performed as expected .... BUT, can I trust the bike in the future? Must I sell the bike? Must I repair the Dakar or maybe just scrap it.
What a nice trip it was. We left the 16th Dec and wade through half a meter of water just outside Pretoria after some heavy rains. We took the highway en by Nylstroom is ons van die grootpad af. Ons eerste stop was Vaalwater. En hier het die pad mooi geword. Soos in baie mooi. Ons het redelik wild langs die pad gekry. It was also on this road that the first shit carrier, miskruier of dungbeetle, hit me on the viser and nearly cracked it.
