My bike died on Sunday after a good day in the saddle. We were about 40ks from home when i noticed the rev counter was doing 7000rpm and dancing around. When we stopped the counter only went down to 4000rpm but the bike was idling with no hassles. About a k down the bike just cut out and died. Tried to start it would swing the motor over nicely but would not fire up. We had been through alot of water and mud that day so i don't know if water got in some where. I still have to get the bike home as it was left at a mates house while we get a trailer.

What i really want to do once she is up and running is take the side stand switch off. What do we do to that so that the bike doesn't have to switch off every time you put the stand down.

Any help would be great.
