Damaraland off limits?

Buddy and I are exploring Damaraland a bit on our KTM 500s and we came accross these signs, seems like the whole Doros area is off limits to bikes. To me this seems like one of the larney lodges overstepping their mark a bit as theres nothing from a government source and the email address is to the lodge. Anyone have any info about this? Would be a real shame if it was really the case as the area has had a bit of rain and is looking spectacular
