Needing to get my head clear and to break away from all kinds of stuff, I decided to take my new bike, a 2002 GS1150, out for the morning and get some miles under her. Weather was tops, no winds, the sun is out, the temp was around 17 deg.

First stop was at Bergrivier dam

Kept going down the road, passed Franshhoek but stopped at the top of the pass.

On the other side of the mountain, Threewaterskloof dam

On the way to Grabouw, another pass lies ahead, Viljoen's if my memory serves my right. Some lekker views and corners

Just outside of Grabouw

On the last stretch home, this view from the top of Sir Lowry's

Hey man, it's a privilege to live in the Cape

Looks great!

Altyd n lekker dagtrip hierdie  :thumleft:
