When I start the bike in neutral I seem to have to jump up and down on the lever for it to go into first. Probably 2-3 times and then it will select.
I adjusted the cable and it seemed better, but when I took it to ktm for the service they said I need quite a bit of freeplay and adjusted it to I’d say about 5mm on the lever or I’ll burn the clutch out.
So this morning I took it for roadworthy. Started it cold and battled to get first, rode to the station and parked it there. 20 min later I started it to leave and then I battled again. The box does seem clunky/agricultural on down shifts. Up shifts are fine as I’m using the quick shifter.
Anyone else have this issue?
