I'm looking at riding down to the Alfie Cox festival on dirt from JHB (still thinking/planning). It's about 450km on the N3 which is gonna translate into about 6 - 700km on the dirt. Will probably do an overnighter somewhere......
Question is, has anyone been up or down Bezuidenhouts Pass recently (near Sterkfontein Dam)? Is the road/path still there? It is on Mapsource.
Has anyone been down Retiefklip Pass (close by)? DOes it exist? And if so, where is it? I checked google-earth but couldn't see much.
