Goodness 1 year later.

11 November 2020 I landed in Australia and had to do 15 days alone in a hotel room for my quarantine. No windows no walks nothing.

The stories at the bash had me delving the archives and I found a gem! ;-)

I never got to go to Melbourne and Sydney due to covid lockdown, real pitty. I miss Australia for all the thing that WORK and the safety.

Immigration is very hard, especially for a family of 4 extroverts that consider family and friends very important. I take my hat off to anybody that immigrates and make sit work. Covid did not help.

100% correct. Its been a battle of note. We have considered on more that one occasion that enough was enough. Lucky our kids have settled in so we are here to stay. I on the other hand would wave goodbye to this island and never look back. As they say, hindsight is a perfect science.

You are sacrificing your life for your kids future in a way. I was fine with that and driven in my work like never before.
