some more pix and the red route, and the posse  >:D

I'm still hunting the intereweb  :mwink: for images of the friday skills challenge, think people though the old "donkey" wouldn't be so spectacular  :pot:

I did ramp of the seesaw (as my front was heading that way) and landed perfectly, with the belly hitting the ground in a cloud of dust, inside the two marker lines. wouldn't want to loose 10 seconds of my time!  :imaposer: :imaposer: :imaposer:

Lekka one there Mike, just shows you it's not the big talkers getting the business done  ;)

Believe bike came down pretty hard with the seesaw.  How's the bike's frame?

Nice pics!  Was great to meet all of you!  My weekend was a little busy - did not do much of the riding, although I was lucky enough to help with some of the scouting and the routes are well known to us FS riders.
Good to see / hear that fun was had....
The old timers rock.  :ricky:

R80 G/S = LEGEND

Well done MM999!  Outoppies can still do it with the best of the current range.

PS - you borrow a clutch from DD then eliminate him in the Barrel Race?  Cheeky!  :mwink:

okay ,

so the end of Friday we were served the best food, and then the results, made the finals!

But the biggest concern was, were are we going to ride on saturday.

Michiel was looking for loose sand and I am always game for Mud, Rocks, loose sand as long as i can do it on two wheels I'm in!

So we ended up with the two wheels crew, filming some takes and ending up in the Mielie field! Ended up doing one of the orange route, then headed to Ladysmith for milkshakes and followed the River back to Clocolan, just in time for the skills challenge finals!  :pot:

okay , the skills challenge ended up to be more fun than i ever imagined I could have on two wheels!

barrel race was very scare at first, had new boots and in the previous skills challenge i seem to miss my back brake all the time, and that is something you need in a barrel race. anyway long story short, beat DustDevil, with his borrowed clutch  :pot: and then there were ten.

My luck I was last, so nerves and fear  :eek7: were the order of the day, made the seesaw and then lost it on the grind bar and the sharp turn on the hill.

That night I had no appetite, but did have a couple of beers and went to bed with the biggest smile!  ;D ;D ;D

awesome pics.  did almost the same route two weeks ago. only problem is the damn potholes on the tar roads.  dirt was much better. but man, what a scenic route

al the pix are with me in are taken by Michiel and Big H and Shesha!

thanks guys never went with the idea to take home a price, but then I got two. even without I would have still gone to sleep with a big smile, a well organized event, good food and warm  :pot: showers, just a pity the routes were not clearly marked.

also met some awesome  people, people I hope to see soon again.

Airheads Forever!
