I'm looking for a small inverter for use on the KTM (12 to 220v)
The smallest I've been able to find is a 110watt unit at Outdoor Warehouse
Some of the kit I carry with me (I'm a technophobe - so sue me  ;D )
My digital camera - no 12v charger available, Ipod speakers, Ipod, etc...
Obviously the camera and Ipod chargers draw much much less than 100watt

Now it is pretty common knowledge (if you're into these things) that the maximum size for a car battery is 300watt - else you will bugger the battery up in no time

Obviously the KTM battery is a lot smaller. Here are the specs:
12v, 11.20Ah and the generator on the KTM is a 450watt unit (@ 6000rpm)

The inverter is a very small unit and can easily be mounted to the bike if necessary

So, can someone tell me if this is a good idea or not. What would the maximum current draw be ? With the bike running / bike not running. Or would it not be a problem whilst the engine is running (Only charging the relevant items whilst on the road)
Would the small bike battery handle this ?
