I am planning to go to India next year and buy an enfield and travel from Delhi to Leh . I have hired enfields before in India in Manali ( Himalayas ) but would like to find out if anyone here has bought an enfield in India and has any advice on the matter . I was going to ship my bike there but the costs of shipping one way is the same cost as a new enfield in India R12450 . I plan to ride solo from Delhi to Manali and then my partner will join me on the Manali to Leh Ladakh route . Some of my questions
*which is better - the 350 or the 500
*new or second hand ?
*if secondhand does anyone know a trustworthy dealer in Delhi
*shipping back to SA ins and outs
