Engine Control Unit - 2009 BMW F800GS, anyone know where to find 2nd hand one?

According to BMW my ECU packed up, started getting EWS messages and bike just stopped middle of traffic bit embarrassing.  Replaced battery, checked ring antenna etc. Must either buy new (R10k+ eina) or find another. one, perhaps some one knows how to fix it?
