F650 that does not want to stop :)

Thanks to help from adventurer I have managed to resolve most of the issues on my 2000 650GS. One thing that is still annoying me is when the bike is warm/hot the accelerator seems to hover around 2000rpm (Once released) and takes a couple of seconds to go back down to the normal 1500rpm. Really wakes you up when you change gear and she sort of lunges forward. Is this normal for the GS or does anyone know what needs to be repaired to resolve the issue?

Have tried an accelerator reset but it does not seem to resolve the issue and it only pops up when she has warmed up.
