That's my son's 1290 and yes when running at the speeds we were doing today, it is awesome. My wife and my son's girlfriend followed in the car. She still wanted a pic when we came past but she was way to slow

Early start for a Numbi ride

Breakfast in Van Wyks Dorp via Rooiberg pass First stop on top of the pass at the rest point

Spekboom Restaurant is no more - Now called the Dusty dog. Breakfast was good

Next stop - Rooiberg Lodge for some coffee and cake. What a lovely place.

Such a beautiful area to ride a bike. The 43 year old and the 3 year old youngster admiring the road on the way beack to CZD

Last stop at the hairpin to enjoy the view.

Numbi area is very wet and severely eroded, especially where illegal sand mining takes place

Small little streams that we cross without thinking became a bit of a challenge
